Yesterday it was a really cold day here in Germany. I had to scrape ice off my car's windows as II wanted to drive to work. My Tilda winter card is matching perfectly to the weather.

" Tilda as skating princess " is from the Winter & Christmas Supplement Collection 2007. I like still her really much. As Sven saw her he said "Oh, a thick Tilda ?"... I think this is a great image and I love that the older ones are not as thin as they are now;). The background is by Alota Rubber Stamps. So I took Tilda, masked her and stamped the background.

Of course I had to test my new Distress Stickles Picket Fence here. I really like them much. They are looking like snow! I used Bazzill white cardstock paper and turquoise pattern. My watercolor papers were not matching to the white card stock so I had to stamp Tilda onto a file card. I distressed the paper's edges and added one of these wonderful ribbons (I do not know how you call them?).
I added some Stickles to the Picket Fence Flowers smaller and the Marvy Snowflake. Now everything is looking really wintery.

It was really hard to watercolor on that file card. I used only file cards for my cards a few years ago, and then used water color pencils, but another brand. So this time it was really difficult to get a good result. The Stickles in the fir are Frosted Lace Stickles. They have a smaller mouth and are better for smaller spaces than the Picket Fence. I also added some matching pearls.
